I became a Certified Public Accountant in 1988. I obtained my Bachelor of Business Administration (Accounting) degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 1984 and obtained a Master of Business Administration degree from Southwest Texas State University in 1992.

I have over 17 years of diverse experience in accounting, auditing, and tax preparation. My experience includes working as an auditor and investigator for the Texas Attorney General's Office; Assistant State Auditor, Texas State Auditor's Office; and Internal Audit Team Leader, Texas Guaranteed Student Loan Corporation. I worked as a tax preparer for H&R Block and more recently I have prepared taxes as an independent, sole proprietor.

I am a native Texan, born and raised in nearby Lampasas. I am a US Navy veteran with six years of duty in the submarine service. I also served over thirteen years as a Naval Reservist. My wife and I make our home in the Cedar Park/Leander area with our three children. I have served as a Director of the Block House Municipal Utility District, and I am a member of the Round Rock Rotary Club.  My family and I are members of the First United Methodist Church in Round Rock.  I am currently serving on the church's Board of Trustees.

I established my accounting firm to provide efficient and expert solutions for small businesses and individuals. The primary services offered include individual and business tax preparation services, accounting, small-business assistance, and financial planning services. I also offer many specialty services to cater to the unique needs of my clients. I specialize in individual taxation issues, QuickBooks® set-up, training and consulting, and I can represent you before the IRS, including offers in compromise, tax levies, penalty abatements, etc.
